Industrial Epoxy Flooring

If you’re working in an industrial facility, you need a floor that’s going to put up with a lot of stress and damage. From heavy machinery to dropped objects and chemical spills, there are so many things that industrial floor coatings need to put up with. So, what’s the best industrial floor coating on the market?

Epoxy Flooring!

Industrial epoxy flooring is a heavy duty high-performance floor coating system that is designed to last for 10-20 years or more with proper care and maintenance. By contrast, lower-quality floors will often last as little as 3-5 years in an industrial facility before they need replacing, causing bottlenecks and setbacks down the line.

Here at Infinity Epoxy, we specialize in fitting industrial epoxy flooring systems for many different clients, including airplane hangars, warehouses, factories, and fire stations. Industrial concrete floors are prone to cracks, holes, and moisture problems – protect your concrete with industrial epoxy flooring today!

Benefits of Industrial Epoxy Flooring

When it comes to industrial floor coatings, epoxy paint is almost always the best option for you. This unique flooring system is not only professional and stylish, but also incredibly durable, longlasting, and practical.

Epoxy flooring can be fitted with anti-slip additives that make it extra grippy, even when wet, reducing the chances of slips, trips, and falls in your facility. It is also resistant to chemical spills, making it ideal for facilities that handle a lot of harsh and abrasive chemicals.

Not just any floor will withstand that kind of damage!

Heavy duty epoxy floor coating can last 10-20 years with proper maintenance, and it’s actually really easy to clean. All you need to do is sweep the epoxy floor coating with a soft-bristled brush to remove all loose debris and then mop it with mild detergent and water. That’s it!

Some of the benefits of industrial epoxy floor coatings include:

  • Anti-slip (even when wet)
  • Easy to clean
  • Withstands dropped objects
  • Can handle heavy traffic
  • Resists chemicals & oil spills
  • Lasts 10-20 years with proper maintenance
  • Color flakes can hide dirt & scratches
  • Cost-effective
  • Different colors & designs
  • Text & logos can be added

If you’re after industrial flooring that is easy to clean, durable, and reduces the likelihood of accidents in your facility, then epoxy is for you. An epoxy floor is also resistant to the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew, so it’s one of the most hygienic floor coatings for facilities like clinics and hospitals too.

Here at Infinity Epoxy, we install heavy duty epoxy floor coating systems for industrial facilities of all kinds – hangars, warehouses, factories, hospitals, and much more. Our epoxy coating is anti-slip, robust, and can be customized to meet your needs. If you need epoxy coating for your industrial floor, look no further than IEF!

Best Industrial Epoxy Floor Coating

Here at IEF, we install the best industrial epoxy for floors using the very best products and techniques. The Infinity Epoxy team has decades of combined experience installing epoxy flooring systems in industrial, commercial, and residential premises – you can count on us to get the job done quickly, thoroughly, and on budget.

So, how does the process work for installing epoxy coating systems?

  1. Assess – First we must assess the existing concrete floor of your premises, checking for any cracks, holes, and gouges in the concrete. We must check whether there is any major structural damage to your floor or whether the cracks are easily repairable.
  2. Repair – If there are any fixable cracks and holes in your existing floor, we will repair this damage and prepare your floor for the epoxy coating – the circumstances must be ideal for the epoxy floor coating to adhere properly.
  3. Grind the Concrete – Next we grind the concrete, making sure that the surface is flat, even, and ready for the epoxy products.
  4. Apply the Epoxy – Now we apply the epoxy coating, using special tools and equipment to get the spread of the epoxy products as flat, even, and uniform as possible.
  5. Cure – When everything is done, the epoxy coating must be left to dry for 48-72 hours. During this time, the industrial floor cannot be used at all – using it too soon could disturb the drying process and ruin the system.
  6. Voila! – Your new industrial floor is ready to go!

Our epoxy floor coatings are second to none, using only the very best products to ensure that your floor is as strong, robust, and durable as possible. Whether you’re running a mechanics or a clinic, our industrial floor coatings are the solution you’re looking for.

Easy-to-Clean Industrial Flooring Solutions

Epoxy industrial flooring is very easy to clean and maintain, which is one of the reasons why it’s so popular in so many sectors. The industrial coating doesn’t absorb water, chemical, oils, and any other fluids, so it’s great in damp environments and facilities where chemical spills are common.

Because the industrial flooring doesn’t absorb liquids easily, it’s very easy to keep clean:

  1. Use a soft-bristled brush to sweep away dirt and loose debris
  2. Next, use a mop with water and mild detergent to mop the floor
  3. Allow 1-2 hours to dry
  4. Done!

If you’re using cleaning chemicals or detergent, you might want to patch test them on a small area of the industrial flooring first. While cleaning chemicals are unlikely to damage the flooring, they can cause the top coat to go a little cloudy, which might not match the aesthetic you desire.

Nonetheless, epoxy industrial flooring is one of the easiest flooring types to clean and maintain in large facilities, easily lasting 10-20 years or more with the proper upkeep and management.

Industrial Epoxy Floor Coating Cost Per Square Foot

Looking at epoxy flooring for your facility but not sure how much it will set you back? While price always varies depending on the type of epoxy you want and how you want it to look, most projects cost $3 – $15 per square foot.

If you’re looking at cheaper epoxy floors, you can expect the standard color flakes design often seen in shopping malls and other public buildings. These flooring solutions help to hide dirt and scratches on your floor, and usually cost around $3 to $8 per square foot to install.

That’s the cheaper end of the spectrum.

On the other hand, if you want a high-gloss epoxy flooring system with custom colors, additives, and text or logos, then you’re looking at the higher end of the scale around $10 to $15 per square foot. These products are better for industrial facilities that need a lot of customization or that need to maintain a professional aesthetic.

Here at IEF, we offer very competitive pricing, so don’t be afraid to get in touch with one of our team to ask about our industrial floor products and pricing!
